October Performance Hockey Day Camp (350)

Oundle School, England | 26-29 October 2025

This is a Performance Hockey Camp for young hockey athletes aged 14 to 17 years, who are looking to develop their hockey skills & knowledge in a fun, challenging, game based environment. The camp programme has a wide range of activities that aim to excite, challenge and inspire young athletes to improve and stay with hockey.

All programme and logistics are managed by Team Futures in association with the FIH Academy. 

Performance Camp Pathway Outcomes - the outcomes we work towards with all young athletes on camp

  • Develop application of skill in context with good decisions.
  • Advanced technical skills performed under pressure and in a game context.
  • Developing understanding of health management and injury prevention.
  • Focus on self-learning, self-analysis, problem solving & team building.
  • Developing understanding of principles of play and game phases.
  • Development of specific, individual physical training education and plans.
  • Mental challenges to cope with pressure moments.

All our camps are a little bit different, however, there are a few fundamentals that make a Futures Hockey Camp.

Specialised Coaching Programme

A focus on integrating technical, tactical, physical and mental hockey skills as part of the FIH Academy Player Pathway

Physical and technical literacy in a fun environment.

Futures Camp T Shirt

All participants will receive a Futures Hockey Camp T shirt.

Individual Feedback

All participants will receive individual development feedback from coaches throughout the camp.

Venue - Oundle School

  • Idyllic English Boarding School
  • World Class venue with 4 hockey fields, Olympic Swimming Pool, Olympic Gym, Athletics track and 2 indoor halls.
  • Accommodation in "Harry Potter" style private boarding houses

Futures Hockey Camp appointments and delivery are co-ordinated by Chris Marriott.

Chris has vast experience of coaching and coach education across national and international levels spanning a 30+ year career in hockey.

He will lead a staff team of highly experienced, exciting and talented camp and player development experts.
